Nice room, very clean, breakfast was great, friendly staff.

I was very surprised and impressed when we arrived at the Inn and the gentleman behind the counter decided to upgrade us at no cost!

We first stayed last year for our annual anniversary trip to the north shore. We enjoyed it so we came back this year and plan to next year as well. We were searching for a more affordable option that still had a cabin feel, we found it. The breakfast is great and we love how pet friendly it is. Friendly staff, location, feels like a home away, breakfast and pet friendly. I would have liked to open the windows, no screens. We had to turn the air on.

If you like motels with a vintage flair and a backwoods feel, this is your place. The Inn has real history and is in a perfect location for easy access to many trails, both hiking and biking including downhill mountain biking at the ski area. Very helpful owners and staff. Super Clean. Amazing breakfast. Nice outdoor picnic areas. Easy access by car and to trails. Quiet. Thoughtful furnishings. You might select one of the larger room options. We had a simple Queen room and it was a tad small (only one chair).

First time stay. Arrived about 9pm and rang for the desk clerk who came promptly. We were upgraded to a larger room. Though this is an older motel type property it has obviously been well maintained over the years and renovated to keep it nice looking. Good bedding, well maintained, good breakfast.

Everyone working at the inn went above and beyond to assist me. The room was neat and clean, and the service was the best I've had. I totally recommend this inn!

This was our first time staying at Willard Munger Inn but it will now be our place to stay in Duluth. The service was exceptional! The rooms were clean and cozy and the beds were really comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the bicycles but did walk on the trail that starts right behind the hotel. We also didn't take advantage of the free zoo pass but we will next time. The grills and courtyard with fire rings are a nice benefit that we did take advantage of. The breakfast is full of options. Everything is well maintained and everyone is so friendly.

This is a great place to stay. I just love everything about the inn - from the people who work there to the northwoods room decor to the pines out front to the terrific hiking opportunities right out the door. I frequented the inn back when Willard Munger himself owned and managed it. How proud he would be of his grandson for continuing the family tradition of housing city-weary hikers and bicyclists. I will return again soon!

Great place to stay in Duluth, near walking and biking trails and always clean rooms and friendly staff!

The room was very cozy even though the weather was horrible. The motel is right on the Munger Trail, but we could not use the trail because of the driving rain. We were very cozy sitting in bed watching TV. We have stayed there before. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The wifi did not work very well.

My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay near Duluth and chose this Inn and booked a room online. We arrived around 10pm and a lovely woman, whose name I didn't catch, had already ran my card and left the receipt in the room which was very convenient. The room itself wasn't anything fancy, but had an outdoor theme and was very cozy for one night. Overall, wonderful stay!

A friend & I needed a place to stay near Duluth for one night. I chose this place over the Motel 6 and am glad that I did. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, the room was clean, warm, and comfortable. The location is great, too. The breakfast wasn't great (no fruit! Mostly just donuts and cereal.), but was nice to have included anyways. We really enjoyed staying here!

I was in town from Sunday to Friday at a professional development training that was hosted in Procter. The free bike usage that was complementary to the room was the best part. I used that to get around 75% of the time and buses/lyfts the remaining 25% of my trips. The room was clean and had just the right amount of space and amenities for my needs. The front desk staff were also friendly, courteous, and helpful. The refrigerator was too cold and froze my food. The control knob did not seem to indicate which direction was colder/warmer. No fan in the bathroom. There was however a window, but that unfortunately let in a lot of cold air. There was a slight gap between the front door and the threshold, which let in cold air. I blocked it with pillow.

We checked in with Mustafa, who was great! Room was cozy. Had breakfast & hit the zoo. I couldn't believe how clean this place is. Great free breakfast, free passes to the zoo & free bikes! Super clean!

I really enjoyed our stay. We had a full bed room type and it was all that we needed. The price was right and it was in a great location, we didn’t have to drive too far for anything. Free breakfast, nice bed, nice location Shower curtain was broken, bed was kinda squeaky

Owner was very friendly, other staff were very short and not very helpful. Tiny room. Tiny room, limited breakfast. Staff were short and not very welcoming.

We were photographing a wedding in Two Harbors and got in late Friday night. The manager Mustafa called me and told me he would charge my card tonight, leave the receipt and key in the room, and also leave the light on! It was magical. We had a great night, slept fine, and left the next morning. We did not eat breakfast here. Wi-Fi was slow.
