1 Queen with Whirlpool and Deck

We stayed in the queen suite with a whirlpool. It was a cozy room, just what we needed for one night.

During the stay we experienced great customer service, clean and well maintained room, amazing breakfast, and festive decorations. This beats the normal hotel experience I’ve had before. Can’t tell you how this place made the trip to Duluth better. We truly will be back next year to enjoy our time. Welcoming staff, cleanliness, amenities, room decor.

The room was nice. The breakfast was good. They give you tickets to the zoo and free bikes to use. They will even take you to a nearby fishing hole to get some walleyes if you want.

This is our third time here. My husband rides annually from the Twin Cities to Duluth, and this place is right at the end of the Willard Munger trail. SO convenient. Very friendly staff, great location and service, and even a better than most breakfast. Location, staff; unique rooms; decks in some; breakfast with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage, and the usual cereal, toast, juice, milk, etc. The rooms could use some updating, but all in all, quite good value.

Perfect hotel for ending of bike ride from Hinkley

Everything was great except the too small of A/C unit in the bigger room and the not so great working refrigerator and the really small shower for us bigger fellas. Comfortable beds !!! Too small of A/C units. Need bigger A/C units for the bigger sized rooms. Upgrade A/C units Upgrade refrigerators Small shower for bigger fellas.

Room was clean, hot tub was nice. In warmer weather the deck would’ve been great to use. Not a dislike, was just odd having a big closed space between the entry and the bedroom. But not a deal breaker to going back, should the need arise.

We stayed here a couple times last month. Mainly because it was a comfy cool hotel with lots of amenities and super friendly-safe atmosphere. Doesn't look like the greatest when you first drive up, but looks are deceiving. Way nicer once you see the breakfast area, rooms, back yard, grilling and decks and surrounding areas to explore. Loved the decks, outdoor firepits with plenty of wood, cozy clean rooms, totally awesome free breakfast with newspaper, dog friendly, hiking-walking biking trails in back yard along with a super nice campground a block away. Can't say anything bad at all.

We loved our stay! We had a room with a queen bed, deck, and whirlpool. The deck had a beautiful view, and I really wish we had been staying for more than one night to have time to enjoy the deck and get a fire going. The whirlpool was great and very comfortable. This would be a great place to stay with a large group or a family, and we definitely want to come back again. Deck, whirlpool, kitchenette. This would be a perfect hotel for a few families or couples because the fire pits are all right outside the rooms.

We decided at the last minute to take a trip to the Twin Ports. I searched for a place that my husband and I could have a hot tub in the room after a day of sight seeing! This quaint little room was perfect! We loved the design of the room so we could have separate tv time and hot tub time! The breakfast was nice and the best part was the honor wall...complete with one of my heroes, Paul Wellstone, on the wall! The people we dealt with both on the phone and in person were awesome. The price of this room was amazing!

We have stayed at the Willard Munger Inn on multiple trips to Duluth, and it is wonderful every time! Amazing quality and value. We love the jacuzzi suite and the porches! Super clean, cozy rooms with cabin style decor. Fluffy towels and comfortable beds. Good complimentary breakfast with Caribou coffee. Friendly staff and cute dogs!

So we had the best weekend. I will never stay anywhere else. The hotel looks 50's style. We got a room With a queen bed , jacuzzi and deck. You would think the price was off the charts,but no very affordable. We walk in and there was a living room, dining room, a bedroom and a Jacuzzi in the room. Pictures of this hotel does it no Justice. You have to stay here. The Continental breakfast was not any breakfast. They had eggs and sausages to top off different breads cereal different coffees fresh fruit and fresh waffles. I can't wait to go back. Next time we will stay a week if not more. We plan on visiting at least once every two months very worth checking out.
