1 Queen with Deck

This is the second year my husband and I have come to the hotel and just love it . The staff is so friendly and helps you out with any question you may have . Great breakfast.

Room was surprisingly wonderful. Clean, staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Would. Definitely return. Continental breakfast was great!!! Wanted a small hotel outside of the busy city. This place was perfect. Loved the deck off the room.

My husband and I stayed here for a night and were charmed by this place. There are firepits out back you can use and they also have firewood. They allow you to use the bikes for free which is great if you wanna ride Munger Trail. The room was so lovely with the knotty pine and the "up north" feel. Clean and cozy. And the couple that run it are such nice people. We'll definitely be staying here anytime we venture up to Duluth. And bonus! It's dog friendly!

Super nice staff. Stayed with my 2 old pups and it was great to have to deck off the back to relax and a place for the pups to go. Super comfy beds. Good breakfast. Very clean room.

This hotel is unique and that may turn off people who prefer chains, but we loved the Mom & Pop feel & the friendliness & helpfulness of the Staff. The decor is rustic and most either have a deck or access to a courtyard. The breakfast is good. The best part of this motel is the location - right next to a 70 mile (one way) paved bike path AND right next to a nice Waterfront gravel trail. They provide FREE bikes for your use and have an EXCELLENT bike mechanic in their handyman. It’s easy to (drive) to Duluth. Not being able to open room windows to get fresh air. Would have been nice to have some utensils & plates or. owls to use in the “kitchenette”

My wife and I spent one night 7/28. The motel is a cute, updated Inn just off the main roads. Close enough to be convenient, but isolated enough to be peaceful. Clean, friendly, comfortable. We loved the lower courtyard. Breakfast had more than just your basic Continental fare. Some doors could use some adjusting. Ours were squeaky, and the entry door to another room was swelled enough that they had to body slam it open.

Woodsy decor. Owners take pride in getting to know their guests. Loved having a deck. Housecleaning staff was noisy even though I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. Think my room was next to their closet, but still...

I love this place. Wood everywhere Booked always on weekends.
